Light Walls House

This is a beautifully conceived wooden house that casts geometric patterns throughout the interior when light shines in, so throughout the day the house never looks quite the same.

It is the work of the Japanese architectural studio mA-style in Toyokawa city, which uses an innovative roof to cast the shadow patterns across interior walls, floors, furniture and possessions.

The interior décor is minimalist to provide a clear canvas for the angled patterns, which are produced by carefully arranged wooden beams. Have a look and marvel at Kai Nakamura’s photographs of this shifting, wooden gem.
