SoundCloud Berlin Offices by Kelly Robinson

SoundCloud’s Berlin offices are a sight for sore ears

We always knew that working for SoundCloud would be good for the ears but who knew that its Berlin offices would be a treat for all the other senses too.

SoundCloud is a typically creative and forward thinking tech business. It is an audio platform that enables sound creators to upload, record, promote and share their originally-created sounds across the internet.

Of course, music and its creation is inherently cool and the interior designer, Kelly Robinson, has reinforced that standing with a brilliant redesign scheme.

There is a very strong use of wood that softens and warms the industrial backdrop of concrete and bare brick floors and walls. The surfaces are a light mix of natural wood grain, particle board and block-colours. The overall design is quite modular with defined areas for offices, eating, a green room, recording room and even a ‘nap room’.

The theme for the office is centred on music, of course, and there is a real sense that there are quiet spaces to create music and open areas to share music.

It’s brilliantly executed and we’d love to work there…
