Yardstick / ACRE

Coffee and wood – is there a better combination?

We think that Yardstick is as obsessed about coffee as Kronospan is about wood. The organisation aspires to increase the knowledge and profile of speciality coffee from the Philippines, and its enthusiasm and dedication is plain to see.

So, we were delighted when we saw what the Singapore-based creative agency ACRE had created for Yardstick in the form of a new identity and interior design. The design palette has been incorporated across the company’s HQ concept café bar, coffee roastery and coffee lab.

We love the strong use of wood – which suggests time honoured traditions, reliability and professionalism – mixed with playful blocks of colour that give the organisation a real sense of modern fun and openness.

Three espressos and a latte to stay in please…
