Cycling hunting trophies on the wall? Yes please!

We love these recycled bike parts that have been converted into marvelous taxidermy racks to be hung on the wall like strange hunting trophies.

They are the work of Vienna-based designer Andreas Scheiger and probably inspired by Pablo Picasso’s ‘Head of a Bull’ pieces.

I think we can safely say that no bicycles were shot or hurt in the making of these brilliant and fun functional art objects. With bike seats for heads and handlebars for horns, they’re an arresting and practical piece of art that double as bag, coats and bicycle hooks. Andreas even kindly shows you how they’re made!

We found these gems over at Colossal (if you don’t follow this blog every day you’re losing out).
