Julien Carretero’s Stencil Collection

We simply had to share these with you all. Dezeen featured some pieces by Julien Carretero, called his ‘Stencil’ collection.

Created at the Beeldenstorm artists’ workshop and foundry in Eindhoven, he used heat resistant fabric to make the mouldes for his liquid aluminium. Clamping the fabric in a steel stencil, he simply poured the aluminium into it.

Industrial, quirky, aesthetically pleasing – brilliant.
