A chair for every occasion: JAILmake

South London studio  JAILmake have created four chairs – each representing a different time of day, all made within four days.  Made from solid ash, the chairs progress in a linear fashion, from morning, noon, afternoon and evening.

The morning chair is a low rocker, the noon chair a mid-back chair, the afternoon a high-back rocker, and the evening has a deep seated lounger.

Featured on Design Boom these chairs are a delight – simple, endearing, and nicely representative of their allotted time of the day.
