Firewood gets reborn

Vyrobeno Lesem, a designer from the Czech Republic, has developed some new side tables made using ‘found firewood’. Featured on Design Boom, they are made out of a selection of ask, birch and hornbeam and have a steel frame to create its structure.

Each piece is unique and has an earthy, rustic charm which is in now way hampered by the clean lines of the steel frame, which rather than creating too much of a contrast actually almost seem invisible.
