Robbie Tilton: Organic technology?

A few days ago Design Milk featured an unusual attempt to bring to organic outside inside. Designed and created by Robbie Tilton, this Natural Keyboard is his way of returning to a more ‘organic product’.

Although it’s hard to think of a product less organic than a keyboard, Robbie has given it a good go. The frame and keys are made out of wood before being ‘outfitted’ in imitation moss, giving the piece a highly tactile aesthetic. Given that it is imitation moss we can hardly say it’s truly an ‘organic’ product, but it’s certainly interesting.
