Re-Imagined Chair by Studiomama

London based Studiomama have contributed a chair made from a remodelled frame to the Stepney Green Design Collection curated by Dezeen.

Studiomama is run by Nina Tolstrup, who found the chairs dumped near her East London studio. She then stripped them down, added new cushions and upholstery to ‘re-imagine’ the discarded pieces.

In keeping with this burgeoning trend, the chairs are colourful, retro and fun. Kitsch is everywhere.
