VampArt take up-cycling into the Renaissance Era

In keeping with embracing the more niche aspects of modern design, this afternoon we’re taking a look at some fabulous, Renaissance inspired furniture.

The Bristol-London based outfit specialise in luxury, hand-painted vintage furniture. They source beautiful old pieces and transform them into works of ‘functional art’. The latest range are inspired by early Italian renaissance and French baroque paintings. Each piece is a one-off – a special and unusual addition to a home.

This is up-cycling , luxury style. Revamping vintage furnishings is a lucrative business and it’s fascinating to see what designers are coming up with.
