Raskl take on Retail

Raskl, a North East design studio, will be exhibiting at the London Design Festival for the 3rd year running. They’ll be launching their new retail furniture range at Tent London, which runs 20-23 September.

The launch sees Raskl, who have had real success with their bespoke designs, move into the retail market to target its ‘design savvy’ sector.

The designs are minimal and solid looking. The dark finishes, which could look austere, instead add to the subtly stylistic aethetic. The ‘Integra’ desk is a clear nod to mid-century design, with the added quirk of a leather pouch to sweep books and papers into. The ‘Agranda’ bench can be extended, making it a versatile piece.

The new launch is the brain-child of Director and Head Design Dan Rose and Co Director David Angus. Dan, it appears, is the concept man and David the engineer.

On the launch, Dan Rose said, “It’s been a real challenge considering every minute detail and its effect on the the RRP but it’s so rewarding to have these two British designed and made pieces market ready and about to launch at one of the largest design trade shows in London.”

David added, ““It’s been a particularly exciting year for Raskl with many interesting projects on the go, and having just gone through a radical re-brand we’re very much ready and looking forward to showing the fruits of all our hard work at TENT.”

Dan and David will be at Stand E08 Hall T1 at Tent London.
