Design Milk have featured an inspired desk/seat combination by Ubiquity Design Studio. For those of us who spent our childhoods on the floor or dinner table, surrounded by drawings and pieces of craft paper this really captures the imagination
A simple, clean design that avoids the primary-coloured eye-sore for design conscious parents, it is available in three finishes. What’s even better is that there is a version for adults, so a laptop (or pieces of paper, if you’re feeling the whole childhood nostalgia thing) can sit there perfectly.
Ubiquity Design was started up by Tim Spencer, a former nurse who could no longer resist his creative calling to design. This opening range helps to address the poor posture and subsequent back problems faced by children sitting at traditional desks.
