Nic Parnell’s Sustainable Style

Nic Parnell, a designer based in South East London, has a different take on UpCycling. Whilst only working with ‘reclaimed or found wood’, he combines these with materials that are not, in his own words, “100% eco-friendly”. An interesting and common sensical twist on the UpCycling trend, his design is all about resourcefulness, and not a clichéd corporate need to appear ‘morally responsible’.

A respectable, honest and with an arguably more sustainable design ethic than many, his work is fascinating. Bold, genuinely different, quirky, fun, stylish. It’s got the brains and it’s got the looks.
