Tomás Alonso

Tomás Alonso is a Spanish designer who has subtle chic down to a tee. He lets his materials do the talking – as it says on his site:

He uses both wood and metal in a sober, soft and practical manner, skilfully inverting the usual way in which these two materials are perceived: wood is reduced to very slender, squared, vectorial sticks, iron is curved, warm and coloured.

Playful, highly functional and irresistibly simple, his work is perfectly encapsulates Kronospan’s Visionairre trend. Lovely stuff.
