Matthew Robinson’s Talking Points

Matthew Robinson is an exciting new designer. Still at university in Leeds studying furniture making, his pieces are stylish, unusual, beautifully crafted and have a real sense of fun.

The ‘Fusion’ table are made with American walnut and maple. In his own words, they have an almost cartoon like appearance, with the surrealist dripping effect.

Creating functional furniture that are anything but a ‘piece of the furniture’, his designs definitely meet his aim to make this stand-out, conversation pieces. We’re definitely excited to see what he does next.
