Joachim King brings Nordic influences to Scotland

Based in the heart of Glasgow, Joachim King uses locally sourced Scottish hardwood and sustainable materials to create his designs.

Originally from a family of Finnish boatbuilders, he moved to the UK and obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. The influences of boatbuilding craftmanship and engineering have a visible effect in his work – it is masculine, functional, yet elegant and original at the same time.

The dark woods and strong grains in these would fit brilliantly into both the Sentiment and Bohemian Kitsch range by Kronospan – the hues and the shapes able to fit into any decor.
