Daphna Laurens’ Cirkel range

Another fantastic design magazine worth looking at is Me Design Mag, and in the archives I found this weird and wonderful collection of pieces by Daphna Laurens.

A Dutch designer with an apparently child-like sense of fun and shape, the Cirkel range is her most recent, though some of her other stuff is definitely worth a look too. Inspired by…well, circles, the designs are unusual and innovative, with a nice combination of natural-looking materials and unnatural shapes and lines.
