Space-age office in China

Two days ago Contemporist featured a blog on an office so unusually designed that I sat trying to fathom it for some time. Designed by One Plus Partnership, it is actually the sales office for a real-estate company in Chongqing, China. It’s possibly the least officey-looking office you could probably imagine.

The style is almost Lucas-esque and is oozing with grandeur. Possibly a little over-the-top for some people’s taste, it’s still something to admire – whoever designed it had an idea of an epic, futuristic space and really went to town with it. That takes some guts. Click the link above to Contemporist’s blog to see more.
