Lee Jea-Hyo’s Stunning Log Chairs

There is nothing so aesthetically pleasing as simple design using carefully crafted, natural materials. Having the discovered the wonderful design blog mocoloco, a post on this beautiful chair whetted my appetite and I had to find out more.

Made by Korean designer Lee Jae-Hyo, and using pine and chestnut logs, this is an object just oozing tactility and craftsmanship.

Looking through his site, you cannot fail to admire the skill and finesse in all of his pieces.

Such unique use of these humble materials is truly inspiring.
