After the success of For(u)m 1 back in November 2010, For(u)m 2 took place at the end of last year (2011). This time around the design event was set against the backdrop of Kronospan’s 24 hour-a-day manufacturing operations – with the night-shift’s forklift trucks whizzing by. Five room pods were exclusively created for the location.
Each pod showcased Kronospan’s potential new trends and put them into a context that reflected where home trends are heading. The four style pods embraced Industrialism, Visionnaire, Bohemian Kitsch and Sentiment, while a fifth pod showcased new styles for Kronospan’s Natural Touch product.
We took some sneaky photographs of the pods with our Hipstamatic app on the night and these are the fittingly nostalgic results…
The For(u)m audience of customers and partners were then let loose to explore the pods and vote for the surface trends that they want Kronospan to manufacture for its FRESH 3 in 2012.
